Okay these pictures are totally out of order and my "update" is stuck in the middle. It won't let me fix it so whatever!

I had to stop giving them to him because he was bitting off chunks.

Maybe when he gets more teeth we can start eatig them again.

So I haven't updated the blog in like 5 months and everybody is always on my case about it. So I guess I will give it another try! Cooper has changed so much since my last blog! He is walking now, which is crazy! He weighs 23 pounds, so he's still a big healthy boy. He is very strong and VERY active! His hair is out of control, but daddy wants to let it get long and shaggy. He stopped eating baby food about 2 months ago, even though he still only has two teeth. We only have 6 weeks left on the bottle (YAY!) I am already planning the big 1st birthday party! I even took a cake decorating class in preperation for the big event. So I guess I will post some of my favorite pictures from the last few months. Most of my favorite pics were taken with my new camera and are stored on my other computer, so I will have to add those later.

Here Comes Santa Claus!

Coop went to see Santa today! Our real estate agent's office had little thing, as a gift to their customers they hired a Santa and Mrs. Claus and a photographer and gave you a CD of your pics for free. I thought it beat the heck out of waiting in line at the mall! I think it was the real Santa claus too! He had such a nice Santa suit. He did try to give my 5 month old a candy cane though. I told him that he's a little to little for that!

(As Todd would say) Mommy dressed Cooper up like a dork in a holiday sweater-vest, turtleneck, jeans, and penny loafers! He looked so cute! He did smile while Santa was holding him, they just didn't catch it in the pictures!

Cooper finally rolled from his back to his belly today! He did it once this afternoon and then again right after Todd got home from work! I was happy he did again for Todd to see! It has been a whole month since the first time he rolled from his belly to his back, and he still only does that occassionally. I couldn't have been any prouder!

Cooper and his Daddy are really starting to bond. When Todd is in the room he stares at him the whole time! (I'm only a little jealous!) Todd is a great dad! He's getting really good at playing, changing diapers, feeding him, and putting him to bed. He is also starting to get more comfortable being alone with him so I can get all that important shopping in!

By the way he reached for somone one for the first time the other day. It wasn't me or Todd. It was my friend Amy! We were out shopping and he reached up for her to get him out of his stroller. The little toot! He was supposed to reach for his mommy first!

We made it to the pumpkin patch today! It was a little chilly out, so we pretty much took pictures and went back home. Next year we will have to go on the hay ride ad go through the corn maze!

Should be an exciting week this week! We are taking a trip to the pumpkin patch with Max and Hannah, and his first Halloween is on Friday! Check back this weekend for pictures of Cooper in his costume! On the down side, he will be having his 4 month shots on Thursday. Not looking forward to that, but we have to do it I am going to try and post some recent videos of Cooper in the next few days... he is constantly doing something cute!

Trip to Kentucky

Cooper made his first weekend trip to Kentucky since he was 2 months old! We got to spend some time with my dad's side of the family. Aunt Jill coked us a great meal on Saturday night and we had a bonfire on the patio afterward (with smores for dessert!) The real reason for our visit was to have family pictures made with my family. Our extended family at Wells Studio did and amazing job taking pictures of us ouside in the Fall leaves! The pictures are wonderful! Thank you so much Jill, we will treasure them forever! You did a great job!

First Vacation

Cooper went on his first vacation last week. We went to destin, FL with his nana & pop. We had lots of fun! We didn't spend much time at the beach, but Cooper went swimming in the pool four times. He seemed to really enjoy it. While he was there he rolled from his belly to his back!

Cooper had his 3 month birthday yesterday! I can't believe it has already been 3 months since the first time I held him. He has grown up way too fast! We are having lots of fun though!

With all that beautiful baby hair comes a bad case of cradle cap!. I have to scrub his head a couple times a week. I found some stuff to put in it to help get it out. I thought I'd have some fun while I cleaned his hair the other day. This is his first mohawk.

Nana and Pop came to visit!

Cooper's Nana and Pop came to visit this weekend. We are having a really good time! His nana is crazy about him! She hardly put him down all day today. We went to Target so he could "pick out" some toys for her to buy him. Then we went to Bonefish Grill, YUM! Cooper behaved himself very well!

Cooper has a couple of new friends. These are his buddies, Hannah & Max. They live on our street. Hopefully they will be friends for years to come! They came into play for a minute after our walk the other day. Hannah held his hand while they were laying there. I think they're sweet on each other. Cooper is the shortest of the 3 and he also weighs the most! Ha ha!

Big Weekend

We have a big weekend so far! Cooper's Grammy and Grandaddy and Great- Grandaddy & Peggy came to visit him this weekend. We also had a community yard sale today. I got rid of all my junk! Since it was Cooper's first yard sale experience I thought I'd document it with a photo. Its so cute, but it only makes sense if you know we were having a yard sale.

We are taking Cooper to the doctor in the morning for his two month shots. Yes, I realize I am a month late, as he is 3 months old now. I wasn't aware that you have to make the appointment at the two week check up to be able to get in. We are also going to a mom's group at church tomorrow. It will be our first outing that involves socializing with other mothers and babies, so I am excited about it!

We had a pretty good Saturday hanging out around the house. We did go out an do some furniture shopping , so Cooper got dressed up in one of his new outfits for fall. It was only like 70 degrees here today! his shirt says Daddy's Little Quarterback, but he looks more like he's gonna be Daddy's Little Linebacker!

Cooper rode in his stroller without his infant seat for the first time today! I promise he liked it, he was just really sleepy when I took the picture. The picture of him sleeping was taken less than a minute after the picture of him crying. I guess this might keep me from having to wear the dreaded "fanny pack."

LEARNING TO USE HIS HANDS

Cooper is such a sweet baby. He will be 11 weeks old Thursday. Today he gripped a toy and put it in his mouth. I was so proud! And I just happened to have my camera in hand so this picture is the very first time he chewed on a toy. He held on to a link-a-do for as long as 30 minutes at a time. Todd couldn't wait to get home and see what he had learned to do. We are having a great time being parents. He has been a little fussy these past few days, but I think he is just going through another phase.
